Shish Tawook

1.25 kg chicken breast (cut into large chunks)

Marinade:
1 cup yogurt
0.5 cup lemon juice
0.5 cup olive oil
8 garlic cloves (crushed)
2 tbsp tomato purée
2 tsp paprika
1.5 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp ground ginger
2 tsp salt
0.5 tsp black pepper

To serve:
Pita bread
Garlic sauce
Lettuce

or
Oven roasted potato
Tzatziki
Red onion

In a large bowl or freezer bag,  add the ingredients for the marinade and whisk to combine.

Place the chicken and mix well. Let marinade in fridge for at least an hour (the longer the better).

Thread the chicken on skewers and place on grill 5-8 minutes or in oven ca 20 minutes.

Serve with pita bread, lettuce and garlic sauce, or as on the picture with potato and tzatziki.
