Pita

 10-12   225°C     8-10    30+25  

4 tsp dry yeast
4 dl (400 ml) lukewarm water
1 dl (100 ml) lukewarm milk
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
ca 1.2 liter flour

Pour water, milk and yeast in a big bowl. Add sugar, salt and oil. Add flour a little at the time and mix to a dough. Work the dough for 5 minutes. Let raise covered for 30 minutes.

Pour the dough onto a floured worktop and divide into 10-12 pieces. Roll out to ca 14 cm circles. Let raise another 20-25 minutes covered on a oven tray.

Bake for 8-10 minutes in 225ºC. Let cool covered on a cooling rack.

Fill your pita breads with your favourite fillings; kebab meat, cevapcici, chicken strips or hamburger and salad, dressing and vegetables.
