Melt the butter. Mix oats, flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla and syrup in a bowl. Add the butter and mix. Spread the batter in a form 20×30 cm.
Bake for 10 minutes in 200ºC .
Slice the nougat in thin slices. Put them on top of the warm cake so they melt. Make a pattern with a fork and cut the cake. Cool in fridge for 20 minutes before serving. Freezes well.
