Scones

 4 cakes, or 2 big    25 min   225°C     12-15 min  

Credit: traditional   

8 dl (800 ml) flour
4 tsp baking powder
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 dl (100 ml) oil
4 dl (400 ml) milk

Mix the dry ingredients. Add oil and milk and mix to a dough. Add extra flour if too sticky. Make four round cakes (or 2 if you want bigger cakes). With a knife divide the cakes with a cross to make them easier to break when done. Poke some wholes with a fork. Bake for 12-15 minutes in 250ºC.
