Chicken Shawarma

1kg chicken thigh fillets

Marinade
2 tsp cumin
2 tsp coriander
2 tsp allspice
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp onion powder
2.5 dl (250 ml) Greek yogurt
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
2-3 tsp salt
0.25 tsp black pepper

To Serve
tortilla bread, or pita
lettuce
chopped onion
tomatoes
yogurt-garlic sauce

In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients for the marinade and mix.

Cut the chicken in small pieces or strips and add to the marinade. Let marinade, covered, for  an hour or in fridge overnight.

Make the yogurt-garlic sauce.

Grill the chicken.

Serve the chicken with vegetables and sauce in pita or tortilla bread.
