Sesame

Sesamum indicum

Family: Pedaliaceae

Annual (occasionally perennial)

The difference between white and black seeds is that the white have the skin removed. But there is also a difference in taste as the black seeds are nuttier and a bit bitter compared to the white, which have a sweeter taste.
