Whisk egg and sugar until white and puffy. Add milk and butter. Mix flour and baking powder and add to the batter. Stir gently.
Pour into a buttered and breaded round cake form. Bake for 45 minutes in 175°C. Let cool on a cooling rack. Divide into 3 layers.
