Pite Cake

  20-24   225°C       15 min  

4 tsp vanilla sugar or 4 ml vanilla powder
100g butter melted
Topping

200g butter melted

Mix flour, baking powder and vanilla powder in a bowl. Whisk egg, sugar and milk. Add the flour mix and the melted butter and mix.

Pour the batter in a large oven tray dressed with grease proof paper.

Mix all ingredients for the topping and spread on top of the batter. Bake for 15 minutes in 225°C.

A comment on this

I found this cake today on Internet. Sounded good, lasted a couple of hours (and the hubby wasn’t even home) = loved by the children. Definitely a new favourite. Called Pitekaka in Swedish after a city called Piteå.
